Wolverine Solutions Group adds a Flat Sorting System – Customer focused solutions increasing productivity and reducing costs!

As one of Michigan’s largest presort service providers; Wolverine Solutions Group has been presorting letter size mail for over two decades. With the new postage rate structure introduced on May 12, 2008, Wolverine Solutions Group quickly realized the peril to our customers and the need to reduce expenses. As such, the customers of Wolverine Solutions Group can enjoy the savings associated with the New Flat Sorting System immediately.

The benefits of the system are two-fold: 1.) Postage Savings - The system co-mingles flat mail thereby reducing the average cost per piece. 2.) Reduction in Labor Costs - The flat sorting process eliminates the need to meter the mail before it arrives at Wolverine. Our solution will barcode, apply permit, manifest, commingle and sort the mail for automated discounted postage all in one operation.

IMB (USPS Intelligent Mail Barcode) is currently being implemented by the USPS. This will be a major transformation for all mailers, USPS, software and hardware applications. We are happy to report that we recently upgraded our multilines to spray and read the new IMB. We also have the capability to print the IMB on our laser imagers and ink jet systems. This is a major step in making sure we are compliant well before the required date. We will keep you informed of our progress for IMB implementation across all of our software, imaging, and presort systems.

Wolverine Solutions Group recently installed the new Read Write Matching verification system. This will allow us to offer our clients the latest in camera matching and ink jet imaging in-line on our inserting systems. The system has the ability to read a personalized document and insert the document into a closed face envelope then ink jet the address, graphics and return address onto the carrier envelope. Accuracy, quality and speed along with logging / reporting is available with this system. This greatly improves response rates and document integrity and can be done at today's competitive rates.
